Today we talked to Jay Hale and Jake Laughlin co-founders of AllYall.tv and Grayson Daughters co-creator of True Gritz as we celebrate Southern Culture in a Web 2.0 world.
Jay and Jake created AllYall.tv to be the premier spot on the Internet for top-quality videos about the South. They are trying to corral the most original and compelling Southern video content online – from videos about your favorite hole-in-the-wall Southern eateries to content about festivals, Southern politics, sports, businesses, and more. If it makes for a great story, then they want it on video and available for all to see on AllYall.tv.
But that’s not all. AllYall.tv is also all about what YOU love about the South! They make it easy for all of their users to upload their own videos, and share them with the rest of the world. We’re totally free of charge, and our goal is to showcase not only our own original content, but to also broadcast the things our user community loves about the South.
This is a Southern-style social networking site. Everybody gets his or her own profile to customize, and everybody’s invited to the party: mingle with other members, hobnob with artists, share videos, share opinions.
