Kermit Randa joined Navicure in 2017. He leads go-to-market initiatives and is responsible for accelerating Navicure’s continued revenue and profitability growth following Navicure’s acquisition by Bain Capital.
Most recently, Mr. Randa led PeopleAdmin, a portfolio company of Vista Equity Partners, as Chief Executive Officer and Board Member. Mr. Randa brings to Navicure decades of healthcare industry and executive experience with Greenway Health, Vitera Healthcare, Surgical Information Systems, EMC Corporation’s Commercial Healthcare division, and Siemens Medical.
He received a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Cincinnati, a Master’s degree in Health Administration at Xavier University and an Advanced Management degree from Harvard Business School. Theia Smith has been the Founding Executive Director of The City of Atlanta’s Women Entrepreneurship Initiative (WEI) since September 2014. She was appointed to her role under the leadership of City of Atlanta Mayor Kasim Reed to provide equalizing opportunities for women leaders and entrepreneurs in the city.
WEI is the only city-funded initiative of its kind in the nation and is designed to equip local women business owners with the tools they need to support their businesses. The program offers a comprehensive approach to providing resources and mentorship centered on financial readiness, brand building and human relations skills, to support the growth of its network of business owners. WEI provides a suite of resources, including a collaborative office space, a wealth of business resources and mentorship engagement, at absolutely no cost to its fellow participants.
As head of the organization, Theia’s responsibilities include gaining support from the public, private and education communities, finding sustainable resources to help guide the program and many times being a sounding board for the 15 business owners in the program. She believes in the ability to advance women entrepreneurs to high quality job creation and socio-economic success.
Theia serves as Chair of the Board of Directors for Empower54 and on the Leadership Committee for Startup Runway, a funding initiative for the top 10% of high performing minority and women led startups in the Southeast. Theia is a participant in the 2018 class of Leadership Atlanta.
