Scott W. Arant is a distinguished healthcare executive with over 25 years of experience in executive management, business development, mergers and acquisitions and strategic planning. He currently serves as the President and Chief Executive Officer of American Health Imaging, Inc., a company he founded in 1998.
Under Mr. Arants leadership, American Health Imaging, Inc. has grown significantly in outpatient diagnostic imaging expanding to 23 imaging centers operating in 4 states. AHI’s successful model of cutting edge equipment, highly qualified staff and superior customer service has made them a trusted leader in their various markets.
Mr. Arant recently served as the Chairman of the Board for the Association for Quality Imaging in Washington, D.C. During his Chairmanship, he regularly met with Members of the US Congress, US Senate and The White House advocating for safety, quality and appropriate use in the imaging space and also helps steer the policy agenda for the outpatient imaging industry on Capitol Hill. Mr. Arant is also the Chairman of the Board for the NeuroScience Foundation and a member of the board of directors for the Physicians Care Clinic as well as the Texas IDTF Association.
While best known for his work in diagnostic imaging, Mr. Arant has an ownership interest in other healthcare oriented businesses ranging from Primary Care to patient automation software. Additionally, he has recently developed medical office buildings in Georgia and Florida.
A business graduate of Auburn University, Mr. Arant lives in Atlanta, Georgia with his wife Deborah and their three children.
Dan Balentine is the Chief Operating Officer for American Health Imaging and has been with the company for the last 13 years.
