For some reason people get all hot and bothered by high fructose corn syrup – some people say your body can really tell it apart form cane sugar while other people want to pin this sweet goo on the obesity epidemic. A recent Princeton study has added its opinion to the mix. They say all sweeteners are not created equal. In a rat study they found that rats who consumed high fructose corn syrup gained more weight than rats who consumed sugar. There you have it – if you are a rat their is a difference.
