When I say new – I mean to Americans – South Americans have been eating quinoa for ages. Quinoa wqas once known as the gold of the Incas. Whip up a batch of quinoa then throw in tumeric, garbanzo beans, paprika, cumin and the quinoa in water then simmer slowly for about half an hour. This goes great with grilled zuchini.
