So when you choose a snack to eat during that mid morning or mid afternoon lull go for something that is nutrient rich but not too filling. Remember, a snack is just a little something to take the edge off your hunger pang until your next meal. Some good easy, quick and healthy snacks are: apple slices with peanut butter; a handful of almonds, walnuts or edamames; dried fruit; rolled up turkey with a bit of avocado or some hummus with carrots.
