After spending a number of years in the manufacturing intdustry, and fresh from her Caregiving experience with her grandmother, Renee started working in sales and marketing for a senior independent living community and then later, an assisted living community. Mark Shekerow has been in the printing business for 30 years. Originally from Rhode Island, Mark came to Atlanta via Washington DC and Orlando in 1990. Today Mark is the CEO and Publisher of Regional Caregiver Magazine, currently published in three local markets: Atlanta, Orlando and Charlotte. Originally the idea of his creative director, JoAnn Pauley, the magazine was born out of a frustration for the lack of resources for family caregivers. Thus, the purpose and vision of Regional Caregiver Magazine is to provide a localized resource for caregivers. According to Mark, the primary need of caregivers is information, and that is exactly what he provides in his magazine. Check out the latest issue of the magazine at www.sgcaregiver.com, or contact Mark directly at 404-683-7776.
