Meagan Jain is from Indianapolis, daughter of an India born father and a Polish/Welch mother. She attended the International school there. When her family moved to Georgia, she attended and graduated from Lassiter High School and went on to earn a degree in Sociology with a certificate in gerontology at Georgia State. She began her non-profit, Ageless Interaction five years ago and now sponsors 4 annual events where old and young people partner together to create something. While learning from each other and sharing together, the older folks get the company of young volunteers from ages 13 to around 30 and the young people earn service hours toward graduation. They also have weekly events at local senior centers and a Grandparents Day Picnic coming up on Sept. 17th!
