Jennifer Dobbs Hill, the Executive Director of ArtsBridge Foundation has a multi-faceted background, due to her belief that one should learn as much as possible and not become stagnant and siloed. She has lots of experience in higher education, nonprofits and fundraising and is extremely interested in nonprofit management, foundation programming and grant-making, and politics. She values being involved in the community, from grassroots level to top leadership and, from conversations with others to professional training to educational courses, pursues every opportunity to learn.
The mission of ArtsBridge Foundation is to educate, inspire and motivate Georgia’s K-12 youth through the arts. ArtsBridge Foundation, the education outreach arm of the Cobb Energy Performing Arts Centre, a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization, is charged with securing financial resources for ArtsBridge, the Foundation’s education and community engagement programs. ArtsBridge provides quality arts education and community engagement programming, designed to inspire creativity and foster the next generation of artists and arts supporters. Since its inception in 2007, ArtsBridge has served over 300,000 students and educators from 57 Georgia counties, Alabama, Tennessee, Florida and South Carolina. ArtsBridge programs include Field Trips to the Cobb Energy Centre for performances by leading local and national arts organizations, The Georgia High School Musical Theatre Awards – Shuler Hensley Awards, Master Classes, Educational Arts Experiences, Artists-In-Schools and more.
