Tarby Bryant is the Chairman and CEO of Sweetwater Capital Corporation and the founder of The Gathering of Angels. GOA is a 20 year Angel Forum that matches like Shark Tank, Entrepreneurs looking for seed and early stage capital meet with Accredited Angel Investors, VCs and Investment Bankers. He currently holds monthly GOA investor meeting in Atlanta. GOA has found capital now for 394+ young companies since 1996 from 20k to 39MM.

Bryant started his first entrepreneurial venture at age 7 with his backyard firecracker business.  This business was destroyed in a lightning induced inventory fire that almost burned the entire Peachtree Battle neighborhood and the local elementary school.

Bryant has a BA degree from Davidson College in Economics and an MBA from GA State University with high honors. He served in Vietnam in 1966 as a US Army Intelligence Officer. He was Chairman and CEO of the National Auto Association and developer of 8 Hotels and Inns from 19 to the 500 room Hyatt Regency Hotel in Nashville TN. He crafted and created 3 of these hotels in Atlanta to include the Four Seasons Atlanta in Midtown.

He served as the CEO of the Atlanta Economic Development Corporation in the mid-80s with Mayor Andrew Young as Chairman and was selected as one of Atlanta’s Five Outstanding Young Men. He recently completed his first book on Angel Investing published by Deeds Publishing of Athens, GA and has lectured across the country on entrepreneurial finance, valuation, and Hotel finance.

Bryant lives currently in Big Canoe, a gated mountain community just north of Atlanta and is active in Buckhead Rotary and is the immediate past Chair of the Finance Committee of the Big Canoe Chapel. He is married to the former Vivian Deems Ellis of Dalton, GA and combined, they have 6 children and 4 grandchildren.

Sam Agarwal is an Innovative Applications Developer. Sam is the founder and CEO of AppZoro Technologies, Inc. – an experienced team of full-stack mobile app developers and web designers. He holds a BS in Computer Science and is working on his Master’s at Georgia Tech. Sam is an Advisor of Mobile App Technology for the Atlanta Tech Village, one of the U.S. leading co-working space entities located in Atlanta, Georgia.

In this role, he has learned the key elements of “grind” to build a successful startup.
