Corey Rieck is the President and Founder of The Long Term Care Planning Group, a firm that specializes in delivering Long Term Care education and coverage to companies, high net worth individuals and large organizations. Since 2001, Corey has devoted his career to Long Term Care. This decision was influenced by witnessing firsthand what happens to a family member with poor health and no Long Term Care insurance. Corey’s mother, in her late forties, was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis and rendered uninsurable.
While Corey’s firm provides a full spectrum of Long Term Care planning options to clients, his dedication to the Long Term Care industry begins with education and helping people dispel the myths surrounding Long Term Care Insurance. From promoting health to preserving wealth as well as the lives of potential care givers, Corey’s approach is focused on helping people face the future with confidence. His past experience in wealth management helps clients understand fully how an unfunded Long Term Care event can adversely impact both a financial plan and income.
Possessing unmatched knowledge and experience in his field, Corey Rieck is regarded by insurance carriers and industry experts as one of the key thought leaders in Long Term Care Planning education and implementation for consumers and businesses. Corey demonstrates his true care and commitment to each client by taking the time to understand each individual’s needs and then exploring the market fully to find the very best solution.
As a result of his trusted guidance and leadership, Corey Rieck serves as one of the lead trainers for the industry’s premier Long Term Care designation, Certified in Long Term Care (CLTC), and trains advisors in all 50 states. Through the CLTC Two-Day Master Class and through CLTC Long Term Care Partnership Training, he has successfully trained over 3,500 advisors from San Francisco to Wall Street on how to most effectively assist their clients with Long Term Care Planning.
Corey earned a BBA from the University of Iowa in 1987 and an MBA from the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul, Minnesota in 1990. Prior to founding The Long Term Care Planning Group, he had a successful sales career in the pharmaceutical and medical device industries. Corey began his career in the insurance business as a financial planning service professional, where he learned many lessons about the effect that an unfunded Long Term Care event can have on family relationships and personal wealth. He and his wife reside in Atlanta and share a common passion for running. The couple raises money for the leukemia and lymphoma research while training for marathons and half marathons.
