Jack Perry, Jr., Host of Legacy Leaders Radio, brought together three amazing women that are in the business of helping families that are torn apart by domestic violence and/or domestic minor sex trafficking.
On the show today, Theresa Wash from Community Welcome House, Cheryl DeLuca-Johnson from Street Grace, and Cathy Berggren from Real Life Center, spoke with Jack about the real and serious problem of violence and abuse at home, and how prevalent, but well-hidden the problem can be.
Theresa Wash is Executive Director at Community Welcome House (www.communitywelcomehouse.org or call 770-304-0966). She would like women and children to know that there is a safe place to go, to get the help they need, and address the issues surrounding a domestic violence situation.
Cheryl DeLuca-Johnson is President and CEO of StreetGrace (www.streetgrace.org or call 678-809-2111). Cheryl spoke with Jack about how it’s not uncommon for children, running from a violent home, to find themselves falling victim to people who take advantage with domestic minor sex trafficking (DMST). Street Grace is dedicated to protecting America’s children from DMST, and educating the public about this serious problem in our communities.
Cathy Berggren is Executive Director with Real Life Center (www.reallifecenter.org or call 770-631-9334). Real Life Center has a sole mission to help those who are hurting, and provide a safe environment for people to build new, healthy relationships, and create positive change in their lives.
