Dr. Patrick Jones is the proud owner of Portside Veterinary Hospital. He graduated from Auburn College of Veterinary Medicine in 2018 and has lived and worked in Mount Pleasant since then. His passion for veterinary medicine and love of the low country led to his decision to create Portside Vet. With a little luck and a lot of work, he set out to create a welcoming hospital that provides the best possible care to our patients, clients, and staff.
Dr. Jones grew up in Birmingham, Alabama, and is one of four veterinarians in the family. His grandfather, father, and wife are all vets. He met his wife, Jackie, at The University of Alabama while in undergrad, and they attended Auburn Vet School and graduated together in 2018. Outside of work, Dr. Jones enjoys spending time with his wife, their three dogs, Coppo, Luca, and Shelli, and their cats, Amica and Cannoli. He and Jackie love exploring the city and trying new restaurants. You can also find them playing in local sports leagues or spending time with friends at a local wine club.

Dr. Eric Broadworth, CEO, Fuel Health & Wellness
Dr. Eric Broadworth is the CEO of Fuel Health & Wellness, partner at Red Light Systems, and the founder of Fuel Consulting.
Dr. Broadworth is a Board-Certified Orthopaedic Clinical Specialist through the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties. He received his Doctorate in Physical Therapy and B.S. in Health Professions with a minor in Spanish at Grand Valley State University in Allendale, Michigan. He specializes in outpatient orthopedics and sports physical therapy. He is a board certified Orthopaedic Clinical Specialist through the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties and a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist through the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA). He has worked with high school, collegiate and professional athletes throughout his career as a physical therapist. Eric is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA), the Sports Physical Therapy Section of the APTA, the Michigan Physical Therapy Association (MPTA), and the NSCA.
Eric also enjoys coaching business owners through his business, Fuel Consulting, and as a partner at Red Light Systems. He specializes in helping other business owners successfully implement photobiomodulation into their healthcare practices to improve client results and also increase business revenue and profit.

The host of LaserLife Insights, Pete Cousins, grew up as an avid sports fan and knew early on that he wanted to be focused on health and wellness in some capacity. After completing his undergraduate degree in Exercise Physiology, Pete started a fitness training business, where he discovered his talent for coaching and influencing others. In 1999, he was recruited into medical sales, exceeded expectations, and quickly rose to leadership positions. He has spent the entirety of his career since then in B2B healthcare commercial leadership roles.
Over the years, Pete has held progressively larger leadership roles within industries ranging from aesthetics to dermatology, dental practice management software, and currently, chiropractic, PT, pain management, dentistry, and veterinary medicine at Summus, where he is currently CCO.
He holds certifications such as “Integrity Selling Facilitator,” Predictive Index Certified Facilitator, Continuous Improvement Leadership, Culture Index Profiling, AMA Advanced Sales Management, and Dimensions of Professional Selling.
