Jesslyn Rollins, CEO, BIOLYTE
Jesslyn Rollins is the CEO of BIOLYTE, a medical-grade hydration supplement company based in Atlanta. She grew up in the city, attending The Lovett School and later graduating from the University of Georgia with a degree in Theatre and Organizational Communication. Rollins joined her family’s business, BIOLYTE, in 2017 as Director of Sales and Marketing before being named CEO in 2019, taking over from her physician father, who founded the company.
Under Jesslyn’s leadership, BIOLYTE has grown into a multi-million dollar brand available in over 20,000 locations nationwide. She is credited with transforming the medical hydration product into a successful beverage company through her passion, enthusiasm, and focus on educating consumers. Rollins aims to create a supportive work environment and has been the recipient of numerous accolades recognizing her as one of Atlanta’s top young entrepreneurs and CEOs. Her strategic vision and commitment to BIOLYTE’s mission have been pivotal to the company’s rapid growth.
BIOLYTE
BIOLYTE is the first liquid supplement that offers the same benefits as IV rehydration therapy but in a drinkable form. The founder, a board-certified anesthesiologist, Dr. Luther C. Rollins, wanted to create a product that would bring the IV bag home to his wife when she was going through breast cancer. As she battled her cancer, she couldn’t keep up with her chemo treatments without getting IV bags because she was so dehydrated. Dr. Rollins used his experience in the hospital tailoring IV bags to his patient’s needs to create BIOLYTE, the first IV in a bottle.
