My Advice for Other Consumer Packaged Goods Startup Entrepreneurs, with Laura Meemken, All Clean Food
Laura Meemken: [00:00:00] First of all, you just have to start and then you have to just keep going. And it’s going to feel like an emotional roller coaster. Some days are tough and things don’t go well. And you get turned down maybe by a retailer you’re really hoping to be in, for example. But just keep going and take small steps every day. And before you know it, you’re going to have a thriving business. I mean, I’ve watched this happen in the past year, even during the pandemic. Just sticking with it and doing things every day has been huge. So, that would be my first bit of advice. Just start and just keep going.
Laura Meemken: [00:00:33] And then, the second thing is surround yourself with incredible mentors. Especially if you’re in the food business, specifically, there’s an incredible network of people here in Minneapolis, St. Paul, who have been through this. And they’re willing to talk to new business owners, like me, and help us through the process and offer their wisdom and advice. So, that’s been just huge. I’m connected with some incredible people here in the Twin Cities, and I’m so thankful for them.
Laura Meemken, CEO & Co-founder, All Clean Food
Laura is CEO & Co-founder at All Clean Food. She is also a married mom of three, licensed Marriage & Family Therapist, & Natural Health Advocate. She loves to cook, sing, watch musicals, read, run, do yoga and meditate. She values family, faith, and showing kindness to ALL.
Her family experienced a true transformation after they moved to a clean eating lifestyle to support their children’s food allergies. They went from “surviving” through sleepless nights, skin and stomach issues and mood/emotional issues to “thriving” with energy, clarity, and a new sense of purpose.
Laura created the business because she could not find a single organic, clean-ingredient meal to keep in her pantry, especially one that would work for her kids’ allergies.
She made it her mission to make eating well easier for ALL no matter what the dietary needs or preferences.
In addition to tasting delicious, All Clean meals will always be made from only REAL INGREDIENTS. No junk, fillers, or artificial ingredients.
Free from the top fourteen food allergens and Vegan-friendly, their meals are enjoyed by ALL around the table.
She has witnessed and experienced the healing power of FOOD and wants everyone to experience this. She is honored to provide a product to make eating well, easier for ALL.
From her family’s table to yours…ORGANIC. DINNER. DONE.
