On this special episode of “On the Money“, host Joe Moss discusses the success story of Embassy National Bank with the bank’s founder Nitin Shah.
ABOUT NITIN SHAH:
Nitin Shah currently serves as CEO of Imperial Investments Group, Inc. with over 30 years of experience in real estate ownership and development. In addition to his hospitality experience, he founded Embassy National Bank in Lawrenceville and currently serves as its Chairman. He was the 1993 Chairman of the Asian American Hotel Owners Association (AAHOA), as well as the founder of the American Franchisee Association and currently serves on its Board of Directors. Mr. Shah serves on the Advisory Board for Kennesaw State University and Georgia College and State University, and was the 2011 President of the Rotary Club of Atlanta Emory-North Druid Hills. He received his Bachelors of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Mumbai in 1978, followed by his Masters of Business Administration from Georgia College and State University in 1989.
ABOUT JOE MOSS:
Joe Moss has served in executive leadership roles within the financial services industry for over 35 years. He currently serves as the president of Embassy National Bank as well as on its Board of Directors. Prior to his leadership role at Embassy, Mr. Moss served as President and COO of Appalachian Community Bank, Director of Lending at The Ardent Companies, Senior Lender at Security Exchange Bank and Director at Ceto and Associates. He brings to Embassy National Bank invaluable experience in myriad capacities including strategic planning, small business lending, investor relations and organizational development. Mr. Moss earned his MBA in Finance at Georgia State Universtiy in 1980 while already working in banking full time after completing his BA in Economics and Finance at Emory University in 1976.
