Walt Murray w/ Horizon Background Screening
Walt Murray, Vice President of Horizon Background Screening, has been involved in background checks investigations for more than 10 years. His expertise ranges from pre-employment screening (including criminal and civil background checks, drug screening, motor vehicle and credit history, to surveillance and other field investigations. Walt has worked as an executive in two other companies, and has had to hire and dismiss employees, and so he has handled employment issues from both the on-boarding process side, and from the employer side.
Walt is a graduate of Kennesaw State University, and has lived in the Atlanta area since 1978. Walt is active in his church and he and his wife have served as foster parents, and adopted two children from foster care.

Jeff Melcher w/ Gordon Rees Scully Monsukhani, LLP
Jeff Melcher is a partner in the firm’s Atlanta, Raleigh and Birmingham offices, and serves as the managing partner for the Birmingham office. Mr. Melcher specializes in commercial and insurance litigation. Shean Decarlos Williams is a Partner and trial Attorney in the Atlanta office of the Cochran Firm – Cochran, Cherry, Givens, Smith, Sistrunk, & Sams. Mr. Williams pursued an academic and football career at Miami University in Ohio, where he received a Bachelor’s degree in Finance in 1993. He obtained his Juris Doctorate from Georgia State University College of Law in 1996. Mr. Williams is currently licensed to practice law in the federal courts, as well as the trial and appellate courts of the State of Georgia.
Shean Williams has been a member of the State Bar of Georgia since 1996. He is also a member of such professional organizations as the American Association for Justice (formerly the Association of Trial Lawyers of America), the Georgia Trial Lawyers Association, Gate City Bar Association, National Bar Association, and the Association of Plaintiff Interstate Trucking Lawyers of America (formerly the Association of Interstate Trucking Lawyers of America).
