Keith Collins, Executive Vice President & Chief Information Officer – SAS
Keith Collins, Executive Vice President and Chief Information Officer (CIO) at SAS, serves as a member of the executive team. He is responsible for leading the Information
Technology Division. As CIO, Collins leads a focused effort on our cloud infrastructure and strategy. Prior to Collins being named CIO he served as Chief Technology Officer (CTO) at SAS where led Research and Development. He has been instrumental in leading SAS’ evolution as a provider of industry-specific solutions that deliver the benefits of powerful analytic technologies into the hands of users. Collins led the effort to develop the company’s breakthrough SAS Business Analytics Framework that is redefining business intelligence as it is known today.
Collins is a graduate of North Carolina State University in computer science. He is the founding member of the strategic advisory board of the department of computer science. In 2003, the university named him a Distinguished Engineering Alumnus. Collins also serves as an advisor for Bull City Venture Partners.
John Kelly, SVP of Solutions Portfolio & Research – IBM
As IBM senior vice president, solutions portfolio and research, Dr. John E. Kelly III is focused on the company’s investments in several of the fastest-growing and most strategic parts of the information technology market. His portfolio includes IBM Analytics, IBM Commerce, IBM Security and IBM Watson, as well as IBM Research and the company’s Intellectual Property team. He will also oversee the development of future units devoted to serving clients in specific industries, beginning with IBM Healthcare later this year.
In this role, Dr. Kelly’s top priorities are to stimulate innovation in key areas of information technology and to bring those innovations into the marketplace quickly; to apply these innovations to help IBM clients succeed; and to identify and nurture new and future areas for investment and growth. He works closely with the leaders of these new units to drive business development, accelerate technology transfer and invest for the future.
