Maria Angelova is a disruptor who left corporate to follow her life-long passion for wellness. 25+ years in the fitness industry, 600-hour Romana’s Pilates certification and detail to movement precision distinguish Maria’s teaching style. Maria is an avid promoter of movement as a pillar of health. Driven by her dad’s death from lung cancer, her daughter’s episode with a complex febrile seizure, and Maria’s difficulty with conception, Maria is also a passionate advocate for environmental toxin reduction. Maria founded Rebellious Intl – www.rebellious-intl.com – in August 2016 with the mission to help others create lifestyle habits supporting body, mind and spirit and empowering them to be their best version of self. Prior to founding Rebellious Intl, Maria was a Finance Director and a professional with 17+ years of progressive corporate experience. Born in Bulgaria, Maria moved to the United States in 1992. She graduated summa cum laude from both the University of Georgia (BBA, Finance) and Georgia State University (MBA, Finance). Maria stays busy balancing family and entrepreneurial life.
