Lee Kantor: [00:00:10] Yeah. This is one of those things where business people are so busy doing business, they don’t realize the importance of reviews. And there are so many places that people could drop reviews. You know, it could be on Facebook, it could be on Yelp, it could be on Google. There’s dozens of places that a review is asked.
Lee Kantor: [00:00:28] So, it’s important to include reviews as part of your just normal marketing strategy. You have to invest some time and effort into getting reviews. You know, people look to reviews to vet different things. And if your company has bad reviews or no reviews, the customer could be suspicious and they might wonder why, how is it possible that you don’t have any reviews after this period of time. So, it’s important to just kind of have some sort of a system in place that allows reviews to be captured.
Lee Kantor: [00:01:03] So, a simple way to do it is just ask people that you work with to review after you’ve done the service. Just ask them, “Hey, if you don’t mind putting a review on whatever platform is the most important to you.” And just make it part of the normal conversation after you’ve done business with somebody or you worked with somebody, “Hey, it would help me out a lot if you could give us a review.” And I’ve seen a lot of folks incent people to give reviews, “Hey, if you give a review, I’ll give you a coffee card,” or something.
Lee Kantor: [00:01:33] But it’s important to invest the time in getting reviews. It’s one of those places where people are looking for, you know, information. And that’s an easy win for you to get if you just invest some time and energy in trying to capture as many reviews as you possibly can.
