Stone Payton: [00:00:02] Welcome back to Business RadioX Pro Tips. Lee Kantor, Stone Payton here with you. Lee, an early mentor of mine used to say that so many people are just way too busy to be successful. I always thought that was funny.
Lee Kantor: [00:00:17] Yeah. A lot of people confuse being busy with doing work that moves the needle in your business. And it’s important for you to know which is more important. All those kind of add many type of activities or the social media posting types of activities, those are all important. And you’ve got to get that stuff right, there’s no denying that. But those aren’t the real activities that move the needle in your business. The things that are important are inviting the right guests, doing good quality shows and then, following up and have meetings to show how you can provide value and ROI to potential clients.
Lee Kantor: [00:00:54] That’s the stuff that matters. Everything else, you should be trying to figure out ways to get other people to do that kind of work and pay somebody or to get an intern or have somebody else do that kind of work, so you can focus on the things that generate revenue and that make money. You don’t confuse being busy with being in business because those are two separate things. And there’s a difference between social networking and social not working. And don’t fall into the trap because it looks like you’re doing a lot of stuff, but you’re not doing the stuff that generates dollars into the business.
