Kathy Winger is a business, corporate, real estate and cybersecurity attorney who represents companies and individuals in commercial and corporate transactions. She has more than twenty years of experience as an attorney in the private sector and, prior to that, served as in-house counsel to a national bank and financial services company. She is currently a solo practitioner in Tucson, Arizona. Kathy frequently speaks nationally and locally about cybersecurity issues from the perspective of a business lawyer and her audiences include business owners, CEO’s, CFO’s, financial executives, lawyers, insurance brokers, health insurance professionals and technology professionals. She has written articles on cybersecurity that have appeared in national publications and has been interviewed about cybersecurity issues for newspaper articles and radio shows.

Kathy is the Executive Vice President of the Board of Directors for Boy Scouts of America Catalina Council and serves on the Advisory Board for the National Bank of Arizona Women’s Financial Group. She is also on the Board of Directors of the Southern Arizona Children’s Advocacy Center and is a member of the Better Business Bureau of Southern Arizona.

I began my career in the life insurance industry in 1978; many firms were not hiring women to be in sales in that male-dominated field. After several attempts, and not giving up, I found a major life insurance company with a young general agent who not only gave me the chance I needed but was huge support over the years I worked with him. In 2005, after working for other companies, I started Sandbrook Group to better serve my clients, who are largely small business owners. In 2017, I further created a signature program for those same clients to do succession planning and their eventual exit from their business, either voluntarily or involuntarily- something that is largely overlooked in this market. I also assist them in getting their business “sale ready” if their goal is to sell their business as an exit strategy,

Kathy earned her BS degree in Chemistry and minor in Math in 1980 from Mary Washington College. Kathy taught high school chemistry until she found out she was a true entrepreneur at heart. She has owned and grown several successful businesses over the years; however, in 2001, she became a designated Independent Financial Advisor, complete with Series 6, 63, 65 and insurance licenses. She nourishes and protects her client’s futures. She is a proud mother of three adults and grandmother of five. She is the former Managing Director of eWomenNetwork in Tucson plus she is an active member of her church and community.

Amber Eghtesadi is a fully licensed agent with the Farmers Insurance Agency of Sandi Eghtesadi. The Eghtesadi Agency is a woman-owned agency that has been assisting Tucson families and businesses make the right insurance choices for over 30 years. Amber has been an integral part of the Agency since 2003 when she started simply answering the phones. She quickly learned that she had a passion for educating clients in choosing the right coverage for them while protecting their family and business assets.

Amber’s outstanding Sales and Service Leadership efforts have resulted in a multitude of national awards – including the Championship Award – as one of the Top 20 Agency Producers in the United States. This is awarded to those who have exemplified superior customer service and civic duty. She was also awarded the 2018 League o of Extraordinary Presidents for leading the largest BNI chapter in Southern Arizona of 50+ members – actively assisting local businesses to substantially and profitably grow their businesses. She has also managed the growing Agency – building an outstanding Team – and generating record sales.

In 2019 she rose to Assistant Activity Chair for the John P Bell Family Foundation and Team Lizzie Bell: helping raise awareness for Bone Marrow Donation and for programs to support children with critical medical conditions and their families.

For the past 3 years, she has actively promoted Farmers “Thanks Americas Teachers” program which granted $500 in school supplies monthly to local Tucson teachers and had a grant program for teachers to apply for a chance at a $100,000 grant.
