In a recent survey from IBM, nearly 30% of U.S. consumers noted that despite the pandemic, they are planning to visit a store before year-end and expect to see new precautions in place, such as enforced social distancing. And while 28% of consumers have shopped online for curbside pickup during the pandemic, another 19% plan to continue shopping this way even after the pandemic is over – signifying a long-term trend.

Aki Duvvur, Vice President & Chief Product Officer, IBM Public Cloud
Aki Duvvur has held various leadership positions within IBM’s Cloud organization since January 2010. Roles have included: VP Cloud & Cognitive, North America, Cloud Platform for North America, Cloud Innovation and Enablement, Global Cloud Strategy, and Integration Executive for the SoftLayer Acquisition. Aki’s current role is as VP & CPO, IBM Public Cloud.
Prior to joining the IBM Cloud team, he was Acquisition Executive for IBM’s Novus and Softek acquisitions and Business Leader in North-East Europe based in Zurich. Prior to IBM’s acquisition of Novus, Aki was CTO for Novus Consulting Group.

His education includes a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the University of Minnesota.
