Carmin Black-HALF UNITED

Carmin Black is one of the founders of HALF UNITED. Carmin and her brother Christian started HALF UNITED, a socially conscious business based here in Wilmington that sells accessories for men and women and then gives HALF of all of their net profits to feed children in need. These two started their business with $200 and the dream of fighting and ending hunger. As a former journalist herself, Carmin loves that she gets to not only feed children in need, but share their stories of triumph with HALF UNITED supporters and customers world wide. To date, HALF UNITED has given away over 100,000 meals to children in Wilmington, Fiji, Cambodia, Haiti and Liberia. They are sold in shops all over town as well as nation wide in Nordstrom and in North East Barnes and Noble campus stores.
