As a conscientious contemporary artist, Robert Young endeavors, not only to entertain, but also to inspire through the art of storytelling. Young’s creative mediums of choice are experiential activation design, contemporary photography, documentary filmmaking, and motivational speaking.
Being born in Canada to Jamaican/Chinese parents and living, mentoring, and working in the creative industry around the world (UnitedStates, the Caribbean, Europe, Africa and Asia] has shaped Young’s sense of identity. He draws on his global perspective and diverse experience in storytelling to create communicative works.
Young has exhibited in Canada and the United States and his work is in private and public collections across North America. His work has also been commissioned by government, philanthropic, and corporate organizations worldwide.
