On today’s show Dr Fitness and the Fat Guy had on Robin Antin, the founder and creator of the Pussycat Dolls. Robin shared her amazing success story. She started out as a dancer and put together a funky dance group while living with Christina Applegate. Christina helped her get an ongoing gig at Johnny Depp’s Viper Room. Robin created the costumes, designed the make up and developed the persona of the Pussycat Dolls right there. Soon A list actresses, musicians, celebrities were clamoring for the chance to get on stage and transform themselves into Pussycat Dolls. But Robin wouldn’t just let anyone onstage. Soon they became a huge underground hit. On today’s show Dr Fitness and the Fat Guy had on Kara Wily, who’s hot new exercise dvd Element: Slim & Tone Pilates dvd is available now. Before we got too far into the show we gave our listeners an update on the SobeFit magazine Dr Fitness and the Fat Guy Weight Loss Challenge. Week thirteen has ended and Dr Fitness and the Fat Guy have lost almost 30 pounds. Somehow Dr Fitness gained weight this week. We are now closing in on our goal of a 50 pound weight loss. Today was the day professional photographer Ellis Vener came into the studio to photograph us for our article in SobeFit magazine. Some people, like Dr Fitness lack any natural rhythm. So here are the tips…Focus on your balance and posture. Try line dancing first – that tends to be easier to follow and you can learn most line dances pretty quickly.
