With over 20 years of experience in the payments industry, Steve Villegas holds significant experience as a sales and business development executive focused on business development, sales growth and strategic partnering. At PPRO Steve will lead the new US operations as VP Partner Management. His responsibilities will include setting up and growing the newly-established PPRO location, supporting existing partners and establishing partnerships with new prospects. Steve spent 10 years in leadership roles with First Data and led the non-financial service partnership team as a Regional Vice President, responsible for growing portfolios representing over 60,000 merchants and $120m in revenue. Steve led efforts in building e-commerce partnerships, delivering innovative solutions, developing new markets as well as piloting and launching new revenue-producing initiatives. Most recently he served as Head of North American Sales and Partnerships for Vesta corporation, a PSP providing e-commerce fraud and payments solutions. Steve resides in Atlanta with his wife and 11-year-old son.
