Estes Heating and Air (now transitioning name to Estes Services) was founded in 1949 by N. B. Estes. Tommy Estes has led the company for the past 20 plus years and is now assisted by son Brian and General Manager John Waldorf. Over the years the company has grown to one of the largest and most respected HVAC companies in the country. In addition to all phases of heating and air service and installation, the company now has extensive plumbing and electrical departments. Estes is also a leading insulation and home performance contractor. In fact, Estes was the first Carrier dealer in the country to become a certified Carrier 360 contractor.
Currently the company has 130 employees and expects sales to exceed 21 million in 2014. Estes Services grew over 12% in 2013. The company has won many awards including the Best Contractor to Work For in the Southeast, the ACCA and Georgia Power Contractor of the Year and most recently Contracting Business’ Residential Contractor of the Year (selected from all HVAC contractors in the country). Estes has received Carrier’s Presidents Award 3 of the last 4 years. Tommy Estes is one of three people in the country selected to Carrier’s Hall of Fame this year.
