Forget about those high calorie things you’re not Lance Armstrong training for the Tour de France. Do you forget to warm up or do what the Fat Guy does and warm up as you go? You might be able to get away with that when you’re young but as you get older you have to warm up. If the only way you modify your strength training workout is by lifting more and more weight, fuggaboutit. On today’s show Dr Fitness and the Fat Guy had on our coach for the Sobefit Weight Loss challenge Marta Montenegro, founder of SobeFit magazine. Marta encouraged the Fat Guy and praised Dr Fitness. She also shared a bunch of weight loss tips. Like if your sick and your symptoms are above the neck you can exercise – if they are below the neck you should wait. She also told the Fat Guy to spread his calories throughout the day rather than all in one or two meals. She said not to drink our calories and to pre-plan healthy snacks. She cuts up and prepares vegetables on the weekends so she can eat them throughout the week.
