Her experience puts her in the role of training other franchise advisors. She founded Franchise Intellect and offers franchise consulting to individuals who are interested in pursuing franchise ownership and to franchisors that are looking to receive assistance in developing a franchise growth strategy and/or a training strategy. She specifically enjoys guiding her client’s in making a knowledgeable decision in selecting the best franchise based upon their criteria, with the objective of achieving financial health and life enjoyment.

Jim Squire, Certified Franchise Executive, is Executive Vice President and Chief Development Officer at Firestorm, overseeing franchise development and alternative channel expansion for the brand. Firestorm is a national franchise company specializing in crisis management, vulnerability analysis/threat assessment, and business continuity. Squire also serves as president and CEO of Franchise Marketing Advisors, LLC, a broad based franchise development consulting practice. Prior to Firestorm and FMA Squire was a senior executive with such well-known brands as the HoneyBaked Ham Company, Great American Cookie Company, Arby’s, Day’s Inns and the Howard Johnson.

Laurence has 20 years experience in SBA lending. He was formerly an attorney for the US Small Business Administration. After his time with the SBA, Laurence has worked as an SBA credit officer and as an SBA lender at several banks in the Southeast. Most recently he built the 50th largest SBA lending department in the country for a large community bank.

Pete Dosik is a recognized leader in franchise law. He is a Franchise Times Legal Eagle and former Chair of the Franchise Section of the Georgia Bar Associations. Pete graduated from Duke Law School in 1997 and his background includes five years as in-house counsel to the Churchs Chicken brand, operating and franchising more than 1700 restaurants in 23 countries. He and his partner Kitt Shipe founded Shipe Dosik Law, a boutique law firm focused on franchise law, in 2013.
