Robert Mattler is the Managing Director of Green Portfolio Solutions, a leading PACE (Property Assessed Clean Energy) management company in Michigan. Bob brings more than 35 years combined experience in real estate law, commercial brokerage and green building consulting.
Bob’s helped dozens of building owners through his efforts and experiences as a Board Member of the Detroit Chapter, United States Green Building Council (usgbc) and Detroit Green Task Force member. Currently Bob is involved with the Detroit 2030 District, one of 23 U.S. cities with the goal of reducing at least 50% carbon emissions and water from buildings by 2030.
Bob works with developers to finance high efficiency infrastructure and renewable energy installations under the PACE statute, now in 34 states , Bob also helps building owners reduce energy and water use, as well as financing the installation of renewables in and on commercial buildings. 
Financing these improvements leads to lower management and maintenance costs, increased net operating income (NOI), building value, competitive value vs. peers which results in a sustainable building harmonious with our environment. In other words, a win for the building owner, mortgage holder, contractor, bank, jurisdiction and our environment.
