Working out at home with an exercise dvd is another great activity for seniors. Also using resistance bands to do strength training is very beneficial. On today’s show Dr Fitness and the Fat Guy had on Kara Wily, who’s hot new exercise dvd Element: Slim & Tone Pilates dvd is available now. Her Pilates technique is sure to give you that dancer body that you’ve always wanted.Kara is a former dance with the Alvin Ailey Dance Company and was the Director of the Pilates Program at the Performing Arts School in Vienna.  Her dvd shows you how to lay down in order to get a great workout. She trained with a protege of Joseph Pilates and uses a lot of the Romana Kryanowksa technique she learned. This technique is great for people who are already in pretty good shape.
