This week we meet four ladies who have travelled the challenging journey of diagnosis, treatment and survival of breast cancer. They’re here to tell us about support resources available that you might not be aware of, that can help someone you know and love get assistance that can make their experience a little (or a lot) better. Hyperbaric Physicians of Georgia is a medical practice focused on resolving wounds that are not healing with basic care. The physicians in their group are certified in wound healing and hyperbaric medicine. Their four locations (Whitcher Street Medical Office Building attached to Kennestone Hospital, St. Joseph Hospital lower level, Northside Forsyth Hospital campus, Bldg 1505, and Lithonia near Hillandale Hospital) are UHMS Accredited hyperbaric medicine centers. With hyperbaric medicine and a full armament of evidence-based wound resolution products, their physicians are able to heal (or at a minimum, significantly improve) the majority of wounds, thermal injuries and late effects of radiation presented to them. In most cases a physician referral is not necessary to be seen by one of their doctors for evaluation (depending on insurance requirements). Most insurance and Medicare/Medicaid accepted.

Testing the Experts, presented by Confirmatrix Laboratory, introduces you to the top physicians, treatment centers and rehabilitation facilities, researchers, law enforcement personnel and other organizations in Atlanta to discuss their work and examine how drug testing and trends in patient care as well as drug usage plays a part in their day to day operations.
