A financial authority specializing in technical accounting and accounting research, George Azih has served as an auditor for banks, insurance companies, and brokerage firms. Prior to LeaseQuery, he performed Accounting Research and Technical Accounting for a Fortune 500 company, where he specialized in lease accounting, sale-leaseback transactions, build-to-suit arrangements, debt restructurings (modifications and extinguishments), asset retirement obligations and purchase accounting. His previous experience also includes working as a Senior Auditor at a CPA firm, where he specialized in audits for financial institutions.
George is a leading expert on lease accounting. He has been quoted in Bloomberg multiple times and has spoken about lease accounting for numerous groups, including Georgia Society of CPAs, Institute of Managerial Accountants (IMA), Financial Executives International (FEI), Technology Association of Georgia (TAG), Corenet Global Summit, and the National Conference for the Accounting and Finance Women’s Association (AFWA).
A member of the American Institute of CPAs and Georgia Society of CPAs, George graduated from the Terry College of Business at the University of Georgia with a BS in Accounting.
Jennifer Booth has deep expertise in technical accounting, having spent 16 years in audit and technical accounting and advisory at EY. During her tenure at EY, she assisted clients with their transition to the new lease standard, helping them interpret the standard, determine their accounting policies, and apply the standard to their lease arrangements. As a member of the EY Lease Expert Network, she served as one of the organization’s subject matter experts on lease accounting.
She also has experience providing accounting guidance on cloud computing arrangements. At EY, she presented technical training on leases and cloud computing. At LeaseQuery, she advises our in-house accountants on the more challenging aspects of lease accounting and works hand in hand with our developers to ensure that our software is best in class.
Jennifer is a graduate of Furman University, where she received a BA in accounting. As a CPA licensed in the state of Georgia, she is a member of the AICPA and the Georgia Society of CPAs. She is also a member of the EY Alumni Network.

Doug Pisik is an Atlanta-based artist who specializes in wood. He creates sculpture, turnings, abstract wall art and boxes with complex designs for which he is primarily known.
Most of Pisik’s work is composed of unique geometric patterns generated out of highly contrasting woods fashioned together with a technique he perfected and calls “Through-Pattern Construction.” This technique allows the complex patterns to pass from the outside through to the inside of his boxes and art panels ensuring every facet is finely decorated.
Pisik primarily avoids dyes and stains and instead continuously searches for woods with naturally contrasting colors and tones to accent his work. Some of his pieces are constructed with over a dozen species of woods and are composed of over a thousand pieces which appear to be seamlessly joined together into a solid composition. He often finishes his pieces in natural oils and waxes so the original feel of the wood is not lost, but is instead accentuated.
Pisik has received awards in a number of juried exhibits of national artists, been part of a dozen museum exhibitions, and accepted large commissions including several from Home Depot and the Terminus Modern Ballet Theatre. He is classified as a “Master Woodworker” from the Woodworker’s Guild of Georgia. His work is sold in numerous galleries and at the High Museum of Art.
