Gary Hayes   Gary Hayes, COO & Managing Director, Scale Finance LLC

Gary is a seasoned financial executive with over 35 years of experience across multiple industries. He is currently Chief Operating Officer, Managing Director and Co-Founder of Scale Finance LLC which is a leading provider of part time CFO and Controller support along with transaction advisory services to small and medium system companies primarily in the Southeast.  Gary has also held senior financial management roles with Ateb, KOZ .com, Saga Software and Lockheed Martin where he provided leadership in raising growth capital, managed multiple acquisitions and implemented systems to improve efficiencies and reduce cost.

He is on the Board of Directors for the Council for Entrepreneurial Development (CED) and Nourish International where he is also Treasurer.

Clayton D'Souza   Clayton D’Souza, Sr. Business Development Manager, DataChambers

Clayton D’Souza is a Business Development Manager at DataChambers, an IT Infrastructure services provider headquartered in Winston-Salem, N.C.  In that role, he is responsible for penetrating the Raleigh, market selling IT Management solutions including Managed Data Center services, Cloud Computing, Enterprise Monitoring and Management solutions and Disaster Recovery options.

Mr. D’Souza has spent over 15 years in the Infrastructure services industry.   Before joining DataChambers, he was a Sr. Account Executive for Peak10 Inc., a Managed Hosting Provider in the Raleigh area.  Originally from Atlanta, Georgia Clayton spent 12 years there where he attended Georgia State University and has a Bachelors in Business Administration as well an MBA with a major in International Business.

Loren Gold   Loren Gold, Executive Vice President, Greater Raleigh Convention & Visitors Bureau

Loren Gold joined the Greater Raleigh Convention and Visitors Bureau team in July of 2005 as director of sales. In 2007 Gold was promoted to executive vice president, where he is responsible for leading the development of strategic sales and marketing programs, including brand management, market research, market communications, IT, advertising and public affairs.

Boasting over fifteen years of senior sales management experience, Gold previously held positions in the Washington, DC area as director of national sales in Wyndham International’s National Sales Office, as well as national sales manager for Marriott Hotels and Resorts.

Gold founded City Reps Inc., the country’s first company dedicated exclusively to multiple CVB representation. He generated meeting and tradeshow business leads for Bureau’s in Cincinnati, Houston, Long Beach, Memphis, Minneapolis, Providence and San Jose.

Gold currently serves as Chair of the Destination Marketing Association International’s Sales & Marketing Committee an instructor for DMAI’s Sales Academy I and II, Chairman of the Board for the Triangle Regional Film Commission, a bi-annual guest lecturer at East Carolina University’s School of Hospitality Management and an advisory board member to Wake Technical Community Colleges START Hospitality Certification Program.

Gold resides in Apex, NC with his wife and three kids and is a graduate of Arizona State University.

Entrepreneur Mark A. Wilson is the President and CEO of Atlanta-based eVerifile Inc., a privately held company specializing in delivering fast, web-powered workforce screening solutions and support systems for organizations across the globe. Founded in 1999, the company serves organizations in a number of industries, including healthcare, gaming, pharmaceuticals, transportation and utilities. Mr. Wilson acquired eVerifile in early 2012 along with an impressive team of investors.

Wilson has over 25 years of experience in the business information services industry, and has held senior level sales and operations management positions with companies such as D&B, ABF Freight Systems and Whirlpool Corporation.

In 2001, Wilson founded RYLA Teleservices Inc. a true start-up, launched in his basement and named after his two children Ryan and Lauren. As President and Chief Executive Officer, he established RYLA as a nationally-recognized customer support and contact center with more than 3,000 employees and revenues in excess of $100 million. Over the years, Wilson continued to grow the business, serving Fortune 500 companies, government agencies and nonprofit organizations while adding call center locations around the country and creating thousands of full-time and seasonal jobs. The company’s many accolades include Wall Street Journal’s top workplaces, Atlanta Business Chronicle’s 2009 fastest-growing company, and the Inc. 5000 list of the nation’s fastest-growing private companies for four consecutive years. RYLA was acquired in 2010.

Wilson’s vision and leadership has earned a number of prestigious honors, including Ernst & Young’s Entrepreneur of the Year Award ® for 2010 and TiE Atlanta’s 2010 Entrepreneur of the Year.

A native of Arkansas, he earned his degree in Business Administration and Management at Wilberforce University. Wilson and his family now live in Atlanta, Georgia.

Kim Anderson/Families First

Kim Anderson is Chief Executive Officer with Families First. Kim is responsible for the implementation and success of the Families First mission while guiding a staff of over 100 employees in 10 locations with an annual budget of $10 million.

Prior to joining Families First, Kim was Senior Director for BoardWalk Consulting providing strategic planning, board enhancement, organizational management and executive leadership for numerous non-profit organizations. Kim previously served as Executive Director of AID Atlanta, the southeast’s largest AIDS services organization.  Before that, Kim enjoyed an extensive legal career in the healthcare arena.  After service with the law firm of Alston & Bird, she became the first General Counsel of Grady Health System, and subsequently served as Vice President & Assistant General Counsel for Magellan Health Systems, a publicly traded behavioral healthcare company, and senior legal counsel for the Atlanta Housing Authority.

Kim is a graduate of Oberlin College and Columbia University School of Law.
