Michael Praeger   Michael Praeger, CEO & Co-Founder, AvidXchange

Michael Praeger is the Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer of AvidXchange, Inc., the leading provider of on-demand accounts payables management and automated payment solutions. Since founding AvidXchange in 2000, Michael has been an active participant and speaker on “payables and payment automation” at various industry conferences and considered a thought leader within the industry in developing creative solutions and best practices for payables and payment automation.

Michael has spent the last 20 years founding, managing, merging and selling technology and web services-related companies. Prior to establishing AvidXchange, Michael was Co-Founder of PlanetResume.com, a technology career enhancement and recruiting site that successfully completed its merger with CareerShop.com and CareerTV.net in November 1999. Prior to that, he was Co-Founder and CEO of InfoLink Partners and InfoVentures, LP. Michael also served as an Associate with Summit Partners, a Boston-based Venture Capital and Buyout partnership with more than $1 billion under management. He received a B.S.B.A. in Finance from Georgetown University. Michael is also a graduate of the “Birthing of Giants” executive entrepreneurship program at MIT.

Michael is currently active in the Entrepreneurs Organization (EO), as well as the Young Presidents Organization (YPO). Michael is also currently serving on the advisory board of the North Carolina Technology Association (NCTA), and on Comdata’s Customer Advisory Board. Michael is revered as a leading business-to-business provider of innovative electronic payment solutions.

Pierre Naude   Pierre Naudé, CEO, nCino

Pierre Naudé has more than 34 years experience in the financial technology industry. Named CEO of nCino in 2012, Pierre played a key role in the initial founding and oversees all aspects of the organization including strategy, sales, marketing, professional services, customer support and product engineering. Prior to joining nCino, Pierre served as divisional president of Community Financial for S1 Corporation, a leading global financial services software company, until its acquisition by ACI Worldwide in February 2012. Prior to S1, Pierre was vice president and managing partner of the Global Channels and Alliances division at Unisys Corporation, a global technology services and solutions company. Pierre earned his degree from Upper Iowa University.

Paula Henderson   Paula Henderson, Vice President of State and Local Government Practice, SAS

As Vice President of the State & Local Government practice at SAS, Paula Henderson is responsible for leading an $80 million business that brings the power of SAS analytics to all 50 states as well as many counties and municipalities across the U.S. Under her leadership the business unit has sustained double digit growth each year for five years.

Henderson is known for her hands-on selling and management approach, her ability to affect state legislature and government policy, and her 20 years of success as a sales leader. In her role as vice president, she oversees SAS’ commitment to helping state and local government organizations provide high-quality services to their constituents, while maximizing resources and budgets.

Henderson is a founding member of North Carolina Women in Science and Technology, co-chair of the North Carolina Information Technology Roundtable and chair of the North Carolina Beautiful Foundation. She holds a master’s degree in business administration from Meredith College in Raleigh, North Carolina, and bachelor’s degree in business management from North Carolina State University.

Chris Stoecker   Chris Stoecker, Managing Director – Carolina Region, Silicon Valley Bank

Chris Stoecker is responsible for business development and portfolio management at an industry leading technology bank for the North & South Carolina region. He specializes in lending and comprehensive banking services to early stage (typically venture or angel backed), growth stage and publicly traded technology and life science companies. Chris’s activities include account acquisition, credit evaluation, term sheet negotiations, loan closings, and active networking with venture capitalists, CPAs, & attorneys.

Martin Barbee   Martin Barbee, SVP of Strategic Accounts, nCino

Martin is responsible for sales and business development within the community and regional bank spaces throughout the United States. Martin started his career in the technology space and then spent 11 years in mortgage lending prior to joining nCino.

Alan King   Alan King, President and Chief Operating Officer, Workplace Options

As President and COO, Alan brings more than 20 years of employee assistance and work-life experience to Workplace Options. He was VP at the Ceridian LifeWorks EAP, where he oversaw international resource and referral, provider relations, external training, quality control, and customer service. Prior to that, he managed resource and referral and central database operations at work-life consulting firm Work Family Directions.

As Director of Marketing and Research for nCino, Jonathan Rowe is responsible for all aspects of the nCino brand, business development, and strategic marketing and research efforts including nCino University. Prior to nCino, Jonathan was a professor in the Cameron School of Business and the director of the Entrepreneurship Center at the University of North Carolina Wilmington. Before beginning his academic career he served as a project manager at IBM Global Services for enterprise software integrations in the United States and Europe. He worked on his doctoral thesis at the University of Auckland and has a Masters of Business Administration from Babson College.
