Dr. Heath Hooper is Dean of the Ledbetter College of Business and an Associate Professor of Sport Management at Shorter University. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Sport Studies from Reinhardt College, a Master of Coaching and Athletic Administration from Concordia University – Irvine and a Ph.D. in Education with a specialization in Sport Management from North Central University. Prior to coming to Shorter University, he worked as an Assistant Men’s Basketball Coach for Reinhardt University for one year and also was an Assistant Men’s Basketball Coach for two years at Young Harris College. Dr. Hooper teaches courses at the undergraduate and graduate level on campus and online consisting of various Sport Management courses such as Introduction to Sport Management, Sport Marketing, Sport Ethics, and Social Media in Sport just to name a few.

Kate Tunison brings over 20 years of professional experience in Presentation Skills, Sales Execution, Management, Leadership, Training, Coaching and Performance Development. Her unique experiences provide a solid foundation of expertise and credibility in these areas. Kate trained for a Top 100 Training Company and corporate training university, IKON Office Solutions. During this time she was the National Manager of Sales Training for IKON Document Services; teaching customer focused consultative selling skills and business presentation skills for a national audience. As a National Manager, Kate provided intervention for senior leadership to improve business results, evaluated needs and made recommendations for improvement, counseled management teams to improve coaching skills, advised and collaborated with leadership committees on training and mentoring.
