Richard Cox
Richard Cox has over 15 years’ experience in the fields of instructional design, project management, performance consulting, eLearning, and facilitation. He specializes in developing teams that provide blended learning solutions designs. As a Manager, Richard has held oversight of Instructional Design and Curriculum Development at companies such as Earthlink, Matria Healthcare, and WellPoint Healthcare. As a consultant, he has held Director level positions over Learning Services at Kalypso Consulting and American Systems. Richard’s areas of expertise include:
- Leading, developing, and sustaining learning team infrastructure utilizing effective processes, production based metrics, and an ISD workflow that customizes learning solutions to meet the specific needs of client business partners
- Identifying vendor/external consultant requirements and driving the interface with internal staff
- Engaging with clients to review the performance implications of business goals and assess the extent to which an intervention can address the root cause of performance gaps
Richard has a Bachelor’s degree in Workforce Education & HR Development and a Master’s degree in Administrative Logistics Management. He is currently on contract at Cox Communications as a Sr. Project Manager, Instructional Design.
