Schelly Marlatt/Gwinnett Clean & Beautiful

A lifelong resident of Gwinnett, Schelly Marlatt is passionate about people and community, crediting her parents for instilling the values of engagement, service and paying it forward. She believes the phrase “it takes a village” rings true as it takes many people with different qualities, skills and values from all walks of life to make a community great. Her deeply rooted commitment to community has led her to serve Gwinnett County Government since 2010 and assume the role of Executive Director of Gwinnett Clean & Beautiful in 2016. At the helm of GC&B, Schelly is dedicated to providing a safe and sustainable community – free of litter, graffiti and blight – to attract an up-and-coming generation of people, businesses and organizations to Gwinnett County. She strives to engage her neighbors to do the same and wants people to be proud of where they live, work and play.

This two-time breast cancer survivor and lover of all things Auburn is proud to be a single mom to two amazing boys. When not hard at work in GC&B’s offices, at a local school or out in the community networking, collaborating, building new partnerships, or facilitating a cleanup or recycling event, Schelly can be found in the congregation at Gwinnett Church at Hamilton Mill, in the stands watching her boys play sports (a LOT of sports – including baseball, basketball, tennis and swimming) or creating a culinary masterpiece in the kitchen of her Dacula home. She is a firm believer in the power of red wine and chocolate to solve most problems.

Gwinnett Clean & Beautiful Services (GC&B) is an affiliate of Keep America Beautiful, the nation’s iconic community improvement nonprofit organization, inspires and educates people to take action every day to improve their community environment. As such, GC&B is part of an organization driven by more than 600 state and local affiliates, millions of volunteers, and the support of corporate partners, social and civic service organizations, academia, municipalities, and government officials.

GC&B’s mission is to Connect People & Resources for a Sustainable Gwinnett, with guiding principles of championing and supporting environmental education curricula and programs as a key to encouraging positive behaviors and daily actions toward a healthier environment and a more-livable community. GC&B does so through building and sustaining broad based community partnerships and alliances to achieve results and long-term community improvements.

Craig DiVizzio/DiVizzio International, LLC

DiVizzio International, established in 1990, is an independent training and consulting firm based in Atlanta and Birmingham, AL specializing in seminars and motivational speaking designed to develop people and sharpen life-enhancing skills. For over 32 years, Craig DiVizzio has taught over 40,000 students and workshop participants, coaching teams at places like Siemens, NASA, Delta Airlines, and beyond. Craig is a speaker, trainer, professor and counselor. He possesses degrees in Psychology, Counseling, and is a Certified Financial Planner. Craig also served in the United States Army as a helicopter mechanic/crew chief for three years. In addition to managing DiVizzio International, Craig has served on the Board of Raising Expectations for over 18 years and is a long-standing member of the Atlanta Hispanic Chamber of Commerce.
