Approaching it’s 22nd birthday, Gas South Arena has been the entertainment hub in Gwinnett County for over two decades. As the campus continues to develop, Gas South District President & CEO Stan Hall announced on February 18, 2025 that the arena is in the final planning stages of a major renovation.

Designed to elevate the arena to match the excellence of the entire campus, the renovations will introduce a fresh modern-look with state-of the art amenities and enhanced functionality. From upgraded seating to improved guest experiences, every detail is crafted to create a more seamless and dynamic environment for events of all kinds.

About Gas South Arena

Gas South Arena is a vibrant, versatile venue showcasing a multitude of concerts, sporting events, family shows, and more. It is home to the ECHL’s Atlanta Gladiators, NLL’s Georgia Swarm, and APV’s Atlanta Vibe. The arena features various food and beverage locations throughout the venue and a removable ice rink that accommodates ice entertainment shows, and is central to many hotels, restaurants, and shopping.

The arena has a capacity of 13,000 and features a state-of-the-art house reduction system which can quickly convert the space to a 3,500 theater-style setting or a large convention and tradeshow space with a capacity of 10,000 attendees. The arena also includes 30 corporate suites, two party suites, club level seats, a spacious concourse, wider seats, a high-end sound system and acoustical enhancements to provide the best experience for every event.

Andy Kelso is the Chief Operating Officer (COO) for Mitsubishi Electric Trane HVAC (METUS). As Chief Operating Officer, Andrew Kelso provides strategic and operational expertise and leadership for the company’s lean transformation, growth initiatives, market trends and business opportunities. He is the company’s lead sponsor for key initiatives driving employee retention and engagement.

Kelso joined METUS in May 2018 after previously holding various global financial leadership positions with Ingersoll Rand. Most recently, he was one of Ingersoll Rand’s Vice President of Finance and previously held financial leadership roles at Trane.
