Chris Barnes is a professional education instructor for the Georgia Tech Supply Chain & Logistics Institute’s Supply Chain Management (SCM) Certificate courses. Barnes holds a B.S., Industrial Engineering and Economics Minor, from Bradley University, an MBA in Industrial Psychology with Honors from the University of West Florida. He is a certified APICS instructor and holds CPIM-F, CLTD-F and CSCP-F designations. He served on the international Board of Trustees for the Institute of Industrial Engineers, is Past President of WERC Atlanta, and is currently involved with APICS Atlanta. He is a certified adult education trainer and has presented to/trained over 1900 people. He served on the editorial advisory board for Warehouse Management & Control Systems Deck Reference and authored the book “WMS: Phase 1: Assessment & Selection” a WERC Publication. In over 30 years with UPS, Jim has worked in Business Development, Sales and Marketing, gaining a deep understanding of UPS’s business units, operations and systems. Tony Sciarrotta serves as the Executive Director for the Reverse Logistics Association. He has held a variety of sales, marketing, and service positions in the consumer electronics industry for over 30 years, including Philips from 1988 through 2013. Beginning in 1998, Tony began a returns management department and focused Philips on activities to reduce returns and their costs. Tony has worked with global retailers and internal business groups to implement returns initiatives that became best-in-class industry practices. Tony also took responsibility for maximizing asset recovery of all returned consumer products. Since Philips, Tony has continued to consult and evangelize for improvements to consumer products to reduce returns, and to improve reverse logistics activities through his new role as Executive Director for the Reverse Logistics Association. Ashley Liebke is the CEO of Vision Media Group, LLC, Co-Host of Supply Chain Now Radio’s #TechConnect series, a Wine consultant with Scout & Cellar, and Co-Founder/Chief Editor and YouTube Creator with her Epic-Taste lifestyle blog. She was formerly the Vice-President of Marketing for Deposco, a provider of Supply Chain Software solutions for Coca Cola, Chickfila and hundreds of other shippers, ditributors and 3PLS. Ashley is a 12 year veteran of UPS, where she mastered the retail technology arena and implemented a new Retail Partner Marketing program. Suzanne Dickerson joined the SC Council on Competitiveness in 2016 after serving for 8 years as the Director for International Business Development at Clemson University’s International Center for Automotive Research (CU-ICAR). Suzanne’s experience includes 20 years in the automotive industry: 12 years within BMW working in the fields of corporate sustainability, innovation management and long-term strategic and structural planning. She began her career with BMW in Munich Germany at corporate headquarters upon completion of the Bosch Foundation Fellowship Program. Suzanne speaks fluent German and is also a Fellow of the BMW Foundation Leaders Forum. Suzanne serves as Vice President of the multi-state Southern Automotive Women’s Forum and is a Board Member of the South Carolina Automotive Council. Chuck Baker graduated from the US Military Academy in 1975. He served as an officer for six years, achieving the rank of Captain. He entered the civilian workforce and worked with Johnson & Johnson in NJ for four years, PepsiCo in Texas for two years and has now worked for Michelin North America for 31 years. Chuck has had many different roles within Michelin. He has been in Engineering, in Logistics as a warehouse manager and a distribution center manager in Pennsylvania, manager of the distribution centers for the US, in multiple Supply Chain roles at different facilities and was assigned to the Information Technologies group for three years. Since 2010, he has been back in logistics and supply chain, where he’s currently responsible for a Michelin program for continual improvement (Michelin Way) for all the distribution centers in North America. Ben Harris is Director of Supply Chain Ecosystem Expansion for the Metro Atlanta Chamber. Ben comes to the Metro Atlanta Chamber after serving as Senior Manager, Market Development for Manhattan Associates.
