LA (I don’t think that is her real name) has worked with some of the biggest tabloids in the world so she knows about the secrets to weight loss. Here are some of the weight loss tips she shared with us: Don’t skip breakfast, change the way you approach food, read food labels carefully, don’t eat and watch TV. Marta’s Montenegro Method has helped us lose over 20 lbs so far. As always she gave us some great weight loss advice and support. She explained that by making small changes and sticking with them until they become a habit before moving onto the next change will help us stay compliant and stick to our plan longer. She said that if we have reached a plateau we should change up our routine. That means we should increase the intensity or duration of our workouts or decrease the number of calories we are eating. She said it is not okay to binge on the weekends, if we are getting tired of eating the same thing day after day we should change up the foods but not increase the calories. She explained the importance of pre-planning. By always having a healthy snack with you you can resist the urge to go through a drive through or raid the vending machine. On today’s show Dr Fitness and the Fat Guy had on our coach for the Sobefit Weight Loss challenge Marta Montenegro, founder of SobeFit magazine. Marta encouraged the Fat Guy and praised Dr Fitness. She also shared a bunch of weight loss tips. Like if your sick and your symptoms are above the neck you can exercise – if they are below the neck you should wait. She also told the Fat Guy to spread his calories throughout the day rather than all in one or two meals. She said not to drink our calories and to pre-plan healthy snacks. She cuts up and prepares vegetables on the weekends so she can eat them throughout the week.
