Teriyaki seems to make everything taste better. This teriyaki burger recipe is so simple the Fat Guy can do it. Take about a pound and half of ground beef and mix in salt and pepper. Heat the grill – wait for it to get pretty hot. Now drop you 1/2″ thick hamburger patties on the grill. Less than 5 minutes on each side and you should be good. You don’t want to flip them too many times and you don’t want to push down on the burgers either. Baste the burgers with the teriyaki sauce towards the end of your cooking. As Michael Douglas so aptly illustrated last night on the Golden Globes throat cancer is one of those cancers you can pretty quickly bounce back from. It is usually pretty localized and if you catch it soon enough you can deal with it before it spreads. The survival rate is about 60-70%. Ice pops or popsicles are a great way to get your fruit servings in each day. And when you make the pops yourself you control the fruit and the sugar. Here is an easy banana berry pop recipe which can easily be modified for your your favorite fruit. Grab your blender throw in some frozen berries, a banana, some yogurt, some pomegranate juice and some honey to sweeten. The Fat Guy says sweeten with Splenda or don’t sweeten at all – its fruit. You have to eat more broccoli. Your kids have to eat more broccoli. It’s good for you and you can make it taste good if your try hard enough.  This Spicy Stir Fried Broccoli with peanut butter recipe  is just so weird it just might be good. You need peanut butter, brown sugar, vinegar, oil, a couple of pounds of broccoli crowns, bell peppers, garlic, red pepper, chopped peanuts.
