In today’s Wellness Minute Dr Fitness and the Fat Guy discuss the research on sunscreen and cancer. In today’s Wellness Minute Dr Fitness and the Fat Guy share some healthy kids breakfast ideas. Breakfast is important for everyone but for kids especially. They need the nutrition to get them focused and ready for the school day. Now parents are in charge of this meal – so no excuses. If you have unhealthy breakfast choices in your house that is because the parent paid the money to put them there. So the first step is to get rid of all the unhealthy choices in the house. Next find out what healthy things your kid will eat. Write down all the ingredients that your kid likes to eat and will eat. Now build healthy meals around those ingredients. They could be fruit smoothies, oatmeal with fruit, yogurt and granola parfaits or grilled cheese on whole wheat bread sandwiches. Listen right now to hear Dr Fitness’ tips.
