Now, at the ripe old age of 10, Cody has thanked more than 15,000 troops and mailed over 4000 pounds of packages overseas. Two or three times a month this young American travels to Atlanta’s Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport to offer a firm handshake and a sincere “thank you” to the deployed troops returning home to our great country. He is definitely a “One Boy USO,” who is definitely making a difference!

She decided to raise all the funds for the Johns Creek Veterans Memorial Women In Service monument in Newtown Park – all $13,000 of it! Her decision was based on wanting to show appreciation for the women veterans’ commitment, courage and character – three traits it appears Ms Yvellez has as well! She appears to be a quiet, young girl, but underneath that smooth exterior lies a decisive, determined and devoted dynamo with a plan as brilliant as a well-cut diamond! She is definitely a “Difference Maker”!
