

With over three decades of executive experience in the financial services industry, Jimmy Patton, President & CEO at Patton Albertson & Miller, has garnered an extensive background working with corporate, middle market and closely held business clients, giving him a unique perspective on the wealth management issues they face. His professional experience includes 23 years with SunTrust Banks, Inc. where he held various positions, most recently as executive vice president and commercial line of business manager for the Georgia Region of SunTrust Banks, Inc. Previously, he served as president and chief executive officer of SunTrust Bank, Middle Georgia. A graduate of the University of Georgia, Jimmy has held several leadership roles in business, community, civic and governmental organizations. Currently, Jimmy serves on the board of directors for Community Health Systems, Inc., B&D Industrial, the J. Bulow Campbell Foundation, He is a member of the University of Georgia’s Terry School of Business alumni board. Previously, he served as treasurer and member of the board of trustees of Leadership Georgia. He has served on the board of directors of the Georgia Chamber of Commerce and the State of Georgia Workforce Investment Board, as well as on the board of trustees of the Macon State College Foundation. He has previously served on the executive committee of the board of trustees of New Town Macon. For five years, he served as a commissioner of the Macon-Bibb County Planning & Zoning Commission. He served four years as the Ward 5, Post 2 member of the Macon City Council. His other philanthropic activities include: Chairman of the board of trustees of First Presbyterian Day School, Inc.; chairman of the board of trustees of the United Way of Central Georgia, Inc.; and board of trustees of the Community Foundation of Central Georgia.
