OK, Little Bird Author Deena Goldstein
Deena Goldstein is the COO of Measurabilities Home Safety – Fall Prevention Home Safety company in Scottsdale, along with her husband Sandy. Together they have served the valley providing clinically guided fall prevention home safety solutions for more than 10 years.
When she’s not educating and fostering community partnerships, Deena has been painting and exhibiting her multimedia work across the valley. Whether she’s creating custom pet pop art or etherial acrylics, Deena’s work has not only been recreational, but philanthropies as well, as she has partnered with pet and therapy organizations across the valley.
Recently, following the loss of her “best-friend and father”, Deena took her inspiration to paper and has just released her debut memoir, OK, Little Bird – which has quickly gained traction in the literary world – and can be found on Amazon, Barnes & Noble and a variety of independent and national booksellers.
OK, Little Bird is an irreverent, funny and inspiring story of an unforgettable father-daughter duo – told through wry banter, anecdotes, voicemails and cantankerous dinners. Readers fly with Little Bird as she navigates the greatest loss in her life, with the gift of humor from her father.
Deena has been featured on a variety of national podcasts including “Where’s the Grief”, Limelight’s “Bookish”, NPR’s KJZZ “Word” show with host Tom Maxedon and more. Deena shares her inspiration and compelling story with organizations, bookclubs and groups valley wide.
