Profiting Through e-Commerce on CEO Exclusive Radio – Business RadioX

April 18, 2016 by rhondachale

ATLANTA, GA–(Marketwired – April 18, 2016) – CEO Exclusive Radio host Soyini Coke explored the question of whether mid-market CEOs can win at e-Commerce. She was joined in the discussion by Brooks Robinson and Joe Reger, who developed their own e-Commerce marketing platform in 2012. That platform has grown into Springbot, which helps online business grow their revenue by leveraging advanced revenue attribution and marketing automation technologies.

Robinson and Reger believe that today’s e-Commerce industry is vastly different from what it was five years ago. Distinctive trends have emerged, they say, particularly regarding platform use, data analysis, and customer interaction. They also note changes in the size of retailers that are having success in the market, and the different marketing strategies being employed by retailers of all sizes.

“Amazon has a great logistics,” Robinson says. “They have great shipping, obviously, with Prime, but when you actually look at the product content that comes from these smaller e-Commerce sites, they are so passionate about their products, that it really comes through with the buying experience, and the content on their sites is just amazing.”

Robinson and Reger stress the need for businesses to work with the customer in the way the customer wants to shop and buy. Through Springbot, they offer solutions in platform management and marketing for small to mid-level businesses.

Due to the vast increase in the use of tablets and smart phones, the percentage of customers that actually purchase something through smart phones or tablets has also increased. However, when compared to the numbers racked up by desktop purchases, the conversion rate from mobile devices is still lower. According to Robinson, while 30 percent of traffic is coming from mobile devices, only 15 percent of purchases are coming from those devices. The key, he says, is finding ways to capture that mobile audience.

The data around e-Commerce is increasingly difficult for mid-sized businesses to navigate. To effectively compete with the larger retailers, Robinson and Reger agree that partnering with experts can be key.

To learn more about Springbot and its vision for e-Commerce now and in the future, listen to the entire interview on CEO Exclusive Radio.

Fitness Expert, Author Tells Women "Imperfection Is Okay" on Pensacola Business Radio – Business RadioX

March 30, 2016 by rhondachale

PENSACOLA, FL–(Marketwired – March 30, 2016) – Pensacola Business Radio spotlighted lifestyle and fitness expert Laticia “Action” Jackson and her efforts to help women find the tools to become empowered and to transform their lives. Host Keith Hoffert talked with Jackson about how she uses her public health and physical fitness background to reach women on a local and regional level.

Jackson describes herself as a recovering perfectionist. “The word perfect is a lie,” she says. “Nothing in life will ever be perfect and I’m becoming okay with this reality.” She shares this message with women both through her writing and her public speaking engagements. Jackson has authored four health and wellness books including ”I’m Not a Size Zero, I’m a Size Healthy”, a women’s fitness and wellness training book that focuses on the impact the media has on women and their body image. Her successful workshop “Love Your Body, Love Yourself” was created from ”I’m Not a Size Zero”.

A survivor of domestic violence, “Action” Jackson has worked with several major health organizations to get her word out to women. The American Heart Association, American Diabetes Association and American Cancer Society all have used Jackson’s expertise for nationwide health promotion and health awareness events. Jackson also is an annual fixture at The Emmett Tills Legacy Foundations “Loving from the Inside Out Symposium” and Alpha Kappa Alpha’s “Paint the City Pink Breast Cancer Event”. “As a recovering perfectionist,” Jackson proclaims, “I tell perfection where to go, not the other way around.”

Jackson will also be speaking at the upcoming Day for Women by Women at Pensacola’s Sacred Heart Hospital Center on April 30, 2016.

To learn more about the Laticia “Action” Jackson and when you can hear her powerful message, listen to the entire interview on Pensacola Business Radio.

Atlanta Business Radio Spotlights Efforts to Help Veterans – Business RadioX

March 14, 2016 by rhondachale

ATLANTA, GA –(Marketwired – March 14, 2016) – On March 8, 2016, Atlanta Business Radio profiled a pair of local efforts geared toward generating attention and support for America’s veterans. Host Ryan McPherson, himself a Purple Heart recipient, sat down with three people who are dedicating themselves to supporting the troops and making a seamless transition when those men and women come home from serving in the armed forces.

The first effort featured is Pat’s Run, a 4.2-mile run/walk taking place in more than 30 cities across the country this spring. It is the signature fundraising event for the Pat Tillman Foundation, a group honoring the former NFL player who lost his life in 2004 serving with the 75th Ranger Regiment in Afghanistan. Atlanta race coordinator Seth Deitchman joined the show to discuss the 12th annual Metro Atlanta running happening on April 23 at Newtown Park in Johns Creek.

The show also featured Jessica Higgins and Marsha Dickerson, both veteran transition specialists with Hire Heroes USA. The goal of their group is to empower transitioning U.S. military members, veterans and their spouses to succeed in the civilian workforce. They accomplish this through workshops, personalized career coaching and employment preparation counseling. Their services are provided at no cost to the military families they help.

In discussing Pat’s Run, Deitchman summed up the mission for both groups saying, “Giving back to the veteran community who have sacrificed so much for this country means a great deal to me and my family.”

To learn more about Pat’s Run and Hire Heroes USA, listen to the entire interview on Atlanta Business Radio.

CEO Exclusive Radio on Business RadioX Spotlights Syrup Marketing – Business RadioX

March 4, 2016 by rhondachale

ATLANTA, GA–(Marketwired – March 04, 2016) – CEO Exclusive Radio welcomed to the studio Syrup Marketing’s Tai Anderson. Host Soyini Coke sat down with Anderson to discuss how companies can use digital marketing and communication to turn customers into raving fans.

After a 20 year career developing a following for a multi-Grammy award-winning brand, Anderson currently serves as the Growth Director for Syrup Marketing. Syrup’s Atlanta-based team brings passion and purpose to creating end-to-end brand engagements for their clients. Their work has reached more than 23 million people.

In the interview, Anderson said the first step in creating loyal fans is developing the ability to work human interaction into the digital experience. He recommends companies create familiarity with their customers. Using first names is key, Anderson says, as is rhythm. “Cadence is huge, as in the right cadence, and the right frequency, and the right time.”

Anderson also urges companies to treat virtual communication with clients and potential clients as if it were a face-to-face encounter. He recommends checking in regularly, demonstrating a helpful nature and displaying manners. “Stop talking about yourself so much,” Anderson says. “Talk about how you make your customer’s life better…stop trying to be the hero, let the customer be a hero, and you just be their guide…have enough love to let them be honored, and be able to be in their shadow as you’re helping your customer achieve their goals.”

Because of his music background, Anderson frequently cites pop star Taylor Swift as a shining example of one who has worked tirelessly to develop brand loyalty. “If you really looked at it like, do I love my customers? It would change the way we market. It would probably even change some of the products we offer.”

To learn more about Syrup Marketing, listen to the entire interview on CEO Exclusive.

On The Money Radio on Gwinnett Business RadioX Spotlights Job Creators Network – Business RadioX

February 17, 2016 by rhondachale

DULUTH, GA–(Marketwired – February 17, 2016) – On The Money Radio welcomed to the studio Alfredo Ortiz and Elaine Lutz with Job Creators Network. Host Joe Moss led these guests in a discussion regarding educating employers and employees.

Job Creators Network (JCN) is a nonpartisan organization founded by entrepreneurs like Home Depot co-founder Bernie Marcus who believe the best defense against bad government policy is a well-informed public.

“Bernie Marcus started with one store in Atlanta,” explained Ortiz. “He was a small business owner. He believes that if he ever tried to recreate Home Depot today, he wouldn’t be able to be successful in this environment of over-regulation and over-taxation. He founded JCN because of his concern that small business owners wouldn’t be able to repeat the success he had.”

JCN’s nonpartisan E2E program is strictly focused on empowering individuals through basic public policy education. JCN strongly supports the right of every employee to empower themselves with as much public policy information as possible, and more importantly the right of every individual to think for themselves and make their own private decisions regarding what to do with that information.

The JCN E2E program gives employers simple tools to talk to their employees about government policy. They break things down with easy to understand videos, blog posts, infographics and social media posts. All of it can be easily viewed at InformationStation.org.

To learn more about the Job Creators Network, listen to the entire interview at On The Money.

About On The Money:

On The Money focuses on topics and issues allowing small businesses to better navigate the financial services minefield, with analysis and opinions from today’s industry experts on banking and loans. On The Money introduces listeners to some of the top small business leaders in the Atlanta market.
