BRX Pro Tip: Capture What You Learn About People
Stone Payton: And we’re back with Business RadioX Pro Tips, Lee Kantor and Stone Payton here with you. Lee, now that we have this RMX report that we generate for studio partners at a certain subscription level, I’m seeing just how much, in black and white, that we’re learning about the people we have these conversations that we build these relationships with. And I got to say in the same breath, I get so enthusiastic about the conversation I just had, but I mean, I know I’m not capturing all that so that I can reference it, you know, three weeks from now.
Lee Kantor: Yeah. The RMX report or the Relationship Multiplier Report that we’re generating for our clients has been a game changer in terms of the value we’re providing. And what it is doing is kind of enabling us to lean into one of our superpowers. And one of our superpowers is that we have meaningful conversations with people every single day. And those meaningful conversations happen in a variety of ways. And we’re able to capture a lot of the intelligence that comes from those conversations, that useful information, and then we’re able to really mine that in a way that is so useful for not only for our clients, but for our guests and for everybody in our ecosystem.
Lee Kantor: And that’s something that I think that more and more organizations have to be able to capture and mine if they want to truly serve their clients and their ecosystem at the next level. Because with the advent of artificial intelligence, and the ability to remember, and to use technology to remember things that have happened long, long time ago, and to bring those kind of key learnings to the forefront is what’s going to separate you from everybody else. And if you’re not spending time kind of leaning into the data that you already have, then you’re not going to be able to solve the problems of your clients moving forward.
Lee Kantor: Sadly, most people aren’t doing this at all. So, that intelligence kind of is lost after the conversation ends. And you might have a CRM system, but most CRM systems aren’t robust enough to connect the dots over and over again, you know, deep into the past. So, the thing that’s helping us right now is that we’re able to connect the dots for our clients in ways that they can’t even imagine, and help them build and nurture and develop relationships with people that are important to them in just a super elegant, efficient manner.
Lee Kantor: The challenge for you today, after you’re having your next important conversation, make sure you’re capturing important things that might be useful down the road. And make it a discipline to write down at least three things you learned at every single conversation, and keep it with that person so that you can access that information down the road. Because that information, it might not be useful today, but it definitely will be useful at some point down the road. And you’re going to be able to leverage that information to help you help that person later if you capture it correctly.
