Business Leaders Invest
Back into the Community Through Support of Creative Enterprises
Communities are strengthened when businesses choose to invest not only in economic growth, but in the organizations working every day to improve the lives of others.
That commitment was recently demonstrated as the Peachtree Corners Business Association (PCBA) presented a $500 charitable contribution to the Gwinnett County campus of Creative Enterprises as part of its ongoing charitable giving initiative, supporting nonprofits that are making a meaningful difference throughout the community.
The donation was presented by PCBA President Lisa Proctor, joined by members of the association’s leadership team, and accepted by Leigh McIntosh, President and CEO of Creative Enterprises.
For more than 50 years, Creative Enterprises has empowered adults with disabilities through vocational training, employment opportunities, community engagement, and life-enrichment programs that foster greater independence and purpose. The Gwinnett County campus continues that mission by equipping individuals with meaningful skills, purposeful work, and opportunities to thrive.
Community impact doesn’t happen by accident. It happens when organizations intentionally create opportunities to support one another. Initiatives like the Peachtree Corners Business Association’s charitable giving program demonstrate how local businesses can collectively strengthen the nonprofit organizations serving their own communities. While the financial contribution may be modest, its value extends far beyond the dollar amount—it reinforces a culture of generosity, collaboration, and shared responsibility that benefits the entire community.
“One of the things I appreciate most about both of these organizations is that they understand community is something you build—not simply something you’re part of,” said Amanda Pearch, creative partner to Creative Enterprises and a longtime supporter of the Peachtree Corners Business Association. “When business leaders intentionally invest in nonprofits, they’re investing in stronger neighborhoods, stronger relationships, and ultimately a stronger local economy. That’s leadership worth recognizing.”
The partnership serves as a reminder that meaningful community impact is rarely the result of one organization acting alone. It is created when businesses, nonprofits, volunteers, and community leaders work together toward a shared purpose, each contributing in ways that create lasting value for those they serve.
